Royal Television Society Awards

On Monday we attended the Royal Television Society student awards in Manchester with our final year students and nominees in the factual category from last years graduates for their documentary film, Missing Link. As well as the awards ceremony the event featured presentations from; Richard Frediani (Head of ITN News at 6.30), Helen Bullough (Head of Production at CBBC), Rick Murray and Frank Smalley (Executive Producer and Producer at Shine), Fiona O’Sullivan and Manus Wynne (Executive Producer and Series Editor at True North TV and The Valleys), Simon Dickson (Creative Director at Dragonfly Film and Television Productions) and networking opportunities. Once again the need for graduates with self awareness, creativity, interdisciplinary skills was called for and a proven passion for media production.
