Film Office Magical Mystery Tour

Induction is underway for our first year students on BA Media Production and what better introduction to the city than a tour around Liverpool’s film locations. As well as seeing Liverpool’s iconic landmarks we also visited the backstreets, alleys and docks where feature films, TV series and adverts have been shot, with Liverpool featured as New York, Moscow, London, from Victorian period to present day. The tour was guided for us by The Liverpool Film Office who were able to give some valuable advice about location filming and the logistics and planning required.
