Making Media for Museums and Galleries

This term has seen the start of the Interactive Multimedia module in which students are producing prototypes of interactive media products for public display in museums and galleries. The brief was introduced to students at a visit to the Museum of Liverpool along with a talk about the use of media in the galleries of this museum and the way in which they are commissioned and designed from curator Paul Gardner.

Roy Boulter,   a producer of Audio visual content, from Hurricane Films , a liverpool based production company, also came to talk to students about producing media for the museum from the perspective of a production company.

For more about this module see student Becky Gleave’s blog.
